Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept long enough to review and answer it. We limit the message to our team and do not disclose it outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The content identifies how Cullman County records can be requested from Sheriff Records, the criminal courts in the county seat of Cullman, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into a consumer report or a record about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and disclosure practices. Those choices are beyond our control, so review the applicable partner policy before entering a query.

Your location may provide additional privacy or consumer rights. In Alabama, the Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40, governs access to public writings, while Ala. Code § 41-9-601 restricts false-pretense acquisition and unauthorized communication of criminal-offender information.
